Upper Montgomery Rotary Club

   This is a provisional site for Pending Charter  of what will be the UPPER MONTGOMERY ROTARY CLUB.   We are a group of vibrant individuals with a common goal to serve the Upper Montgomery County MD community in more ways then one and make it a "Great Place to Live" as well as with diverse experience and exposures to enrich each other’s lives with a spirit to serve the Global community.

   Rotary International is the world's first service club organization. Its more than 1.2 million members volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.

Rotarians are members of Rotary clubs. Rotary clubs belong to Rotary International. To become a Rotarian, you must be invited to join a Rotary club by a member of that club.  So being a Rotarian is a privilege not a right!!

A qualified candidate for Rotary club membership is an adult of good character and good business, professional, or community reputation. The candidate fits one of the following criteria:

• Holds or has held an executive position with discretionary authority in any worthy and recognized business or profession


• Serves or has served as a community leader


• Is a Rotary Foundation alumni
